“While in the program I was introduced to boxing and MMA as a way to deal with stress. I never thought I would Graduate but with staff encouragement I did, and now I'm taking college classes in psychology so that I can help others the way I received help.”

“Before coming to JHOU, I use to skip school everyday and hang out with the wrong crowd, and turned to drinking and using other substance to cope with life. Since coming here, I was able to get clean, and turn my life around for the better- for myself and my family. JHOU supported me on my journey of finding myself true self again.”

"When I first came to this program, I didn’t trust anyone, and felt that I'd never get my life together. While being there I learned how to manage my anger and how to communicate better."
